The DSLR material was too red. I tried to archive a garage look adding a lot of green, removing saturation from both highlights and shadows and adding big-sized grain. Even after that treatment the clips looked too clean, too digital so I prepared a random luminance based mask and I animate the opacity of the matte matching the low-frequency in the song; then I used the animated matte to defocus the images and add orange tones in random areas of the clips. The result was a sort of vibration that accentuated the edit.
